TRD empowers youth through discipline, teamwork, and opportunity.
We deliver high-caliber rugby coaching to youth across Northern Tanzania. Our sessions blend physical training with sports theory, encouraging both boys and girls to grow in skill, confidence, and character. Every drill is a lesson in discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
TRD has established a high-quality touch rugby league among Arusha schools. We organize local and international fixtures, working closely with regional rugby bodies to raise standards and expand access. Every match is a step towards a stronger, more connected rugby community.
We track progress through monthly development reviews and bi-monthly coaching evaluations. These tools help us to refine teaching styles, measure social impact, and share knowledge across our coaching network. Growth is intentional, and every lesson counts.
We invest in coach and referee training programs, empowering local leaders to mentor the next generation. Knowledge transfer is at the heart of our model coaches uplift students, and students become future coaches. It’s a cycle of growth and leadership.
